MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
Charter Members
Charter members include those 70 members that founded the organization in January 1931. Four of our charter members remain as we celebrate our 70th year in operation.

Life Members
Life members are those Active members who have contributed to our organization through contiguous service for more than 20 years. The Board of Directors is responsible for evaluating Active Member candidates and making recommendation to the General Body for acceptance as Life Members.

Active Members

Active members are those members who are at least 18 years of age who meet the residency requirement (within 5 miles of Fire Company) and have an interest in participating in Fire Company activities including fund raising, firefighting, company operations, ambulance operations, and/or fire police.

Operational Active members are those Active members who have met the Annual Duty Requirement (as defined in the Constitution).

Junior Active Members

Junior Active members are those members between 16 years and 18 years of age who join the organization. These members are interviewed by the Board of Directors, Chief, and/or Ambulance Commander and must have current working papers and parental consent to join.

Social Membership
Social members are those persons, at least 21 years of age, who wish to have access to the Saxonburg VFC Fireman's Club.
